Anybody who has taken a class from Kay Seurat has probably been searching for one of her tools. It's a metal honing stone that she uses for finishing her bezels, among other things. On the already posted visit to the woodworking store, I found a near cousin of her tool. They carry metal honing stones in two sizes and three grits--the standard sizes are about six inches long and two inches wide and 3/16" thick and too heavy and expensive. BUT, they have what they call "credit card" sized jobs that are about 14 bucks (not cheap, but hey) and come in three different grits. I specifically asked before I left the store if they carry these normally or if I was looking at the last of the stock (it's depleted) and they said it's regular stock and they can order if you need it.
